The Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) is pleased to announce that it has received Partner status at the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE).

GFCE is a global multi-stakeholder community of over 200 Members and Partners, including governments, international organizations, companies, and academics from all regions of the world.

GFCE Partners are organizations with specific cyber expertise that have been endorsed by at least one GFCE Member. Partners include nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), academia, the tech community and private organizations.

ICTC has established Canada’s largest and longest-running student cybersecurity competition (CyberTitan), and its cybersecurity programming for adults provides training, certification and work-integrated learning opportunities. ICTC’s research into cybersecurity includes investigations into the need for cybersecurity talent development in the Canadian digital economy, provincial assessments of the cybersecurity talent pool in New Brunswick and Alberta, sectoral opportunity mapping, as well as policy briefings and thought leadership on the topic.  

ICTC looks forward to contributing to GFCE research findings, policy insights, best practices and thought leadership based on a strong foundation of cybersecurity research and program implementation in the Canadian context.
