Sophie Fallaha is Executive Director of the International Centre of Expertise on Artificial Intelligence in Montreal (CEIMIA), an international nonprofit organization developing and implementing responsible AI projects. With over 15 years of experience in innovation, she connects research with practice, working with multinational corporations, governments, and nonprofit organizations. Her expertise focuses on sustainable business strategies that create social, environmental, and economic value.
Previously, Sophie served as CEO of the International Reference Center for Life Cycle Assessment and Sustainable Transition (CIRAIG), spanning four universities in Canada and Switzerland. She led a multidisciplinary team, oversaw the development of sustainability metrics, and secured two major long-term research and industry partnerships to advance sustainable practices.
