On September 25, 2025, the Government of Canada launched a 30-day national sprint to gather feedback and shape a renewed Canadian AI Strategy. As part of this process, ICTC submitted a set of seven key recommendations to the public consultation led by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED).
Building on 30 years of experience and a national team of experts, ICTC takes a practical, research-informed approach to ensure that technology is used to drive economic growth, foster innovation, and ensure that Canada’s workforce remains globally competitive. The seven recommendations contained in ICTC’s submission are strategically linked to support a robust and resilient national AI strategy that benefits all Canadians and helps to strengthen Canada’s digital advantage in the global economy.
