Vivek Khindria is President and Principal at Risk Embrace Inc., with more than 30 years of experience in technology and cybersecurity. He has held leadership roles at McMaster University, BMO, CIBC, Bell, and Loblaw, building strategies and programs and advising boards and executives on resilience, cybersecurity, AI, and quantum risk.
Vivek served as Canada’s elected representative on the Information Security Forum Advisory Council and helped establish the Canadian Cyber Threat Exchange (CCTX) to support cross-industry threat intelligence sharing. His experience spans major technology transformations and mergers and acquisitions. He continues to advise organizations on cyber strategy, AI governance, and quantum readiness while supporting universities, startups, and nonprofits. He is a Chartered Director and holds CISSP and CISM certifications.
