Janet Lin is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Equitable Bank, where she leads technology strategy, AI and innovation, infrastructure, enterprise data, technology governance, and cybersecurity. With a background in computer science and over 20 years of experience in digital transformation, she has led innovation across Canada’s banking, payments, retail, and healthcare sectors. Her honours include Canada’s Top 25 Women in Tech and Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women.
Janet also serves as Chair of the Board of the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC). A dedicated advocate for women in technology, she co-founded Loblaw’s Women in Technology committee, helping it grow to over 500 members, and has mentored hundreds of women through the Scala Mentorship Network. She also contributes to advisory boards and judging panels for Women in Tech Canada and Women in AI North America.
