Sashie joined ICTC in 2019 and played a key role in the successful EDGE UP program, which helped professionals from the oil and gas industry transition into Calgary's growing tech sector.
Sashie specializes in planning, coordinating, and running workforce development programs, making sure they meet our goals and industry needs. She enjoys connecting with a wide range of people, including leaders in different industries, schools, and community groups.
In her current role, she drives the strategic growth of ICTC's workforce initiatives. Sashie oversees programs, leads planning efforts, and looks for new opportunities, and tracks which skills are needed in the job market.
Sashie holds a BSc and an MA in Anthropology from the University of Calgary. She is also a Certified Career Development Professional. Her extensive experience and strategic thinking are pivotal in advancing ICTC's workforce initiatives.
